”Going on vacation” is the summer season moomin mug from 2018.

The ”Going on vacation” mug has increased in value for being sold out relatively quickly.

This moomin mug has been available with three different label colors.

This mug has been manufactured in Thailand. There is the later model of the Arabia stamp (by Arabia) as well as a year stamp on the bottom of the mug.

This moomin mug has also been checked by Finmug

separately, in good lighting. Our moomin mugs come from private individuals as well as directly from the factory. Each moomin mug is checked before it is sold here in our online shop. We check the moomin mug to see what kind of base stamp and sticker it has and what condition the mug is in. Size of Moomin mugs

Arabia Moomin mugs come in three sizes:

  • Large 0.4L mugs (introduced after 2021)
  • Regular 0.3L mugs (actual size 0.26L)
  • Mini mugs 14cl (Winter mugs 2011-2021 and classic series)

Manufacturing of Moomin mugs

The material of Moomin mugs is porcelain.

Arabia used to manufacture Moomin mugs in Finland until 2016. Currently, the mugs are produced in Thailand, where production began before 2016.

I don't understand Finnish (I am Danish) but I will say that my experience with Finmug is excellent. Carefully wrapped I received the Moomin mugs I orderd. I enjoy a good cup of Moomin-brew every day.
