Tove Jansson visited the Glosholm Lighthouse several times before it was destroyed. Later on, Tove Jansson used the Glosholm Lighthouse as a model when she was designing the Moomin House. For this reason, the Glosholm Lighthouse has a special meaning for Moomin collectors as well.

Like the Moomin Mugs, all Glosholm Mugs are manufactured by Arabia. The Glosholm Mugs are the same shape and size as the Moomin Mugs.
