The Last Dragon Moomin mug was in production only in 2019.

The Last Dragon is one of four unique mugs released in 2019 to celebrate the new Moominvalley animated series. It is the most valuable of the animation mugs, possibly due to a smaller production run or its captivating artwork. The base features a “MOOMINVALLEY” stamp, confirming authenticity and the link to the 3D series.

The illustration focuses on episode three of season one, “The Last Dragon.” Against a green backdrop, Snufkin and Moomintroll are shown intent on fishing, capturing the light-and-shadow style of Gutsy Animations while staying faithful to Tove Jansson’s originals. Arabia produced The Last Dragon only until the end of 2019, making it rare and sought after. This was the first time Moomin mug artwork was derived from a 3D animated series, adding historical significance. The series itself is based on the original works by Tove and Lars Jansson, further enhancing the mug’s appeal.
