Green Snufkin Moomin mug has been on sale since 2015.

The label reads “Snufkin” although the mug is commonly known as “Green Snufkin.” Even though the green base makes tiny factory flaws (like black dots) easy to see, Supergood-grade pieces are generally plentiful. This mug followed the earlier blue Snufkin and is still in production. The Green Snufkin range also includes a bowl and a plate.

Released in 2015, this charming Snufkin mug replaced the earlier blue version and continued the character’s story in Arabia’s mug line. The illustration is based on Tove Jansson’s first Moomin comic, #1 “Moomin”, showing Snufkin in his element—out in nature. On one side he smokes his pipe at the foot of a tree; on the other he rests by his tent among flowers. Tove Slotte has combined the elements to highlight Snufkin’s calm spirit and philosophy, making this a popular collector’s piece and a fine addition to any Moomin mug collection.
Few people know that Mymble’s Daughter, Little My, and Snufkin are siblings — or that their mother’s name is also Mymble (Mymble's Mother).

  • Thailand: The label says Designed in Finland. Made in Thailand.
