Sailing with Nibling and Too-ticky Moomin mug is the 2014 summer seasonal mug. Collectors also use the shorter name “Sailing” because the original name is long. A matching bowl completes the theme. Because the background is light, Finmug inspects these especially carefully—tiny factory flaws (like small black dots) are easy to see—so not many pieces reach Supergood condition. This was the last summer seasonal mug with the traditional Arabia crown base mark.
Although it has been out for some time, its price is still modest for its age. Interest in seasonal mugs keeps growing, so the value of Sailing with Nibling and Tooticky may well rise. A bright, maritime mug that livens up any Moomin collection.

The illustration comes from Tove and Lars Jansson’s comic Moomin and the Sea: in sunny colors the Moomin family, Tooticky and the Nibling relax aboard their sailboat with coffee in hand. A must for Moomin fans—and sailing lovers too!
