The character of the Muskrat, known for his deep thoughts and wise musings, comes to life in this special mug. In Tove Jansson's stories, the Muskrat enjoys solitude with his books, delving into life's great questions and exploring the vanity of everything, as seen in the mug's illustration with the book in his lap titled "The uselessnes of everything".

On one side of the mug, the Muskrat is lounging in a hammock, enjoying the unbearable lightness of being. On the other side, we see the Muskrat retreated into his cave, immersed in his thoughts and reflections.
