“Glass mug” Moomin mug was produced only in 2014.

The Tove’s Jubilee series was launched in 2014 to celebrate Tove Jansson’s 100th birthday. Alongside this special "Glass mug" version, the series included the regular Tove’s Jubilee mug, a Glasses plate, and three lidded jars (different sizes). Each item carries a special base mark: the Tove 100 jubilee logo. Unusually for crown-stamped mugs, this mug also has a 2014 year stamp. The official label name is “Tove’s Jubilee,” but collectors know this variant as “Rillimuki.” It’s especially rare because only one in six mugs has eyeglasses printed on the inside.
Two euros from each item were donated to UNICEF to support children’s education worldwide. Designed in Finland and made in Thailand. Due to the high value, Finmug inspects these carefully—even though the colourful artwork can hide small factory flaws.

The artwork is closely based on Tove Jansson’s book The Dangerous Journey, where the protagonist Susanna loses her glasses at a Moomin garden party. When she finds a new pair, the whole world looks different—hence the inside print of the “world-changing” glasses on every sixth mug. The scene shows many familiar characters (including Thingumy and Bob) at the party. Designer Tove Slotte combined elements from several originals, such as comic #18 Moomin and the Golden Tail, and even created a composite drawing of Thingumy and Bob by blending details from The Dangerous Journey and Finn Family Moomintroll.
