Snufkin and the Spirit of Fire Moomin mug was only available in 2020.
The Snufkin and the Spirit of Fire Moomin mug was launched in 2020 as part of a special mug series celebrating the new "Moominvalley" 3D animation series. This mug, together with the Moominmamma's Mural mug, was the second one released that year, while four others were already on the market. The illustration of the mug is from the second season of the Moominvalley animation series, in which, with a volcano threatening Moomin Valley, Snufkin and Moomintroll have to return the little spirit of fire back to the volcano.
The entire mug series is a profound tribute to Tove and Lars Jansson's original Moomin works, on which the Gutsy Animations animation series is based. The "MOOMINVALLEY" logo at the bottom of the mug ensures its authenticity and connection to this new animation era. This detail is certainly meaningful to collectors and adds value to the mug.
