Skiing with Mr. Brisk Moomin mug is the winter seasonal mug from 2014. The same charming winter range also includes a bowl and spoons. Because the mug has a light base, Finmug easily spots tiny factory flaws (like small black dots), so not many pieces make it into the Supergood category. As a seasonal mug, the base also carries Arabia’s year stamp.

The mug is also known simply as “Skiing,” since the full name is rather long. It isn’t especially valuable for its age, even though it has been a while since release. Seasonal mugs usually appreciate over time, so it’s quite possible the value of Skiing with Mr. Brisk will rise in the future. Tove Slotte selected the artwork for the Skiing mug, based on Tove Jansson’s comic #5 Moomin’s Winter Follies. The image shows the Moomin family enjoying sledding under Mr. Brisk’s guidance—occasionally stumbling and bumping into each other. The wintry mood and playful story make this a lively addition to any Moomin collection
