The Moomin Mug Love Blue is a highly anticipated new version of the classic pink Love mug, which is the most popular Moomin mug of all time. This light blue mug is valuable already at its release, as it is only available in limited quantities from selected stores. The series also includes a beautiful small plate and a popular mini mug. The mugs are manufactured in Thailand ("Thailand" label). The first mugs released in Japan are particularly rare with the regular "By Arabia" stamp; later the mug will feature the Moomin 80th Anniversary stamp on the base.

This stunning blue-toned mug is sure to become a future favorite among collectors, and its value is likely to increase over time.

The charming illustration of the Love Blue mug tells the story of Snorkmaiden and Moomintroll’s unique relationship, filled with emotion, sometimes sparks, but ultimately always warmth and connection. The image of Snorkmaiden and Moomintroll embracing originates from Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin and the Martians (1957). Illustrator Tove Slotte has skillfully combined illustrations from several original works into one cohesive design. The sun depicted on the mug is borrowed from the comic Moomin Valley Turns Jungle, while other details are taken from Snorkmaiden Goes Rococo and Moomin Builds a House.
