The Keep Waters Clean Blue Moomin mug was only sold in 2016.

The Keep Waters Clean Blue Moomin mug belongs to the special releases that were sold only in Sweden and in a few specialty shops. Even though the mug’s sticker says “Our coast” and “Vår kust”, the mug is also known as the Sweden mug, the Baltic Sea mug, or the HSR2 mug, referring to the collaboration with the Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation. This mug was made in Thailand, unlike the earlier Keep Waters Clean Pink mug, which was made in Finland. No other parts of the series, such as bowls or plates, are available with this mug.

The illustration is based on images created by Tove and Lars Jansson for the Save the Baltic Sea campaign in the 1970s, and adapted into mug form by Tove Slotte. On the mug, Snorkmaiden is in a boat collecting oil from the water into a bucket, so the illustration carries a strong environmental theme. Keep Waters Clean Blue is therefore closely connected to the campaign of the Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation and continues the same Baltic Sea theme as the earlier release in the series.
