Arabia’s Moomin Mug: Home at Last (2025) is a 0.3-litre Moomin mug produced in 2025. The Home at Last Moomin mug is part of the Moomin Arabia Home at Last collection released in 2025, and this exact 0.3-litre mug was available only on the Japanese market from March 6, 2025, until the end of 2025. As a Japan-exclusive special release, the Home at Last Moomin mug is also of interest to collectors.

The Thailand (Package) mug is delivered in a gift box. The base of this mug features the Japan 2025 special stamp, meaning the 2025 year stamp. In addition to the 0.3-litre mug, the Home at Last collection also includes a mini mug and a mini plate. The collection was further expanded for the Nordic countries from July 1, 2025, when a pie dish and a 0.4-litre Moomin mug were added to the range.

The Home at Last Moomin mug was designed in Finland and manufactured in Thailand. On a light, single-coloured base, possible factory imperfections such as small black dots are more visible than usual. For that reason, in Finmug’s inspection this Home at Last Moomin mug does not usually end up in the Supergood category as easily as mugs with richer illustration.

The mug was designed in Finland, and the illustration on the front is based on Tove Jansson’s comic strip Moomin Family (1955). In the story, Moominmamma and Moominpappa rescue Moomintroll from the middle of the sea and soon realize they have found their long-lost son. The mood of the illustration is built around reunion, relief and returning home, which makes the Home at Last Moomin mug exceptionally warm and story-driven.

The illustration also has a clear connection to the Family Time series mug released in 2025. A similar moment, with Moomintroll in Moominmamma’s arms and Moominpappa standing beside them, links these two Moomin mugs together. Because of this, Moomin Mug: Home at Last (2025) pairs beautifully with other Moomin Arabia mugs released in 2025.

The Home at Last collection is also part of the Moomins’ 80th anniversary collaboration between Moomin Arabia and the Red Cross. One euro from every product sold is donated through the local Red Cross to support the humanitarian work of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. In addition, Moomin Arabia is participating together with the Red Cross in Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, whose theme is Designing Future Society for Our Lives.
