Golden Tail Moomin mug is one of the special mugs of 2019.

The Golden Tail Moomin mug was launched in 2019 as part of a special mug series celebrating the new "Moominvalley" animation series. Among the other releases were the mugs Winter Magic, The Last Dragon, and Night for the Groke, which together form this unique series. The following animation-themed mugs were Moominmamma's Mural and Snufkin and the Spirit of Fire.

The mug features a performance of the Moomins' floating theater and is one of the first based on the 3D animation series. The animation series is designed to respect the original illustrations of Tove and Lars Jansson. One of the specialties of the mug is its base stamp, which reads "MOOMINVALLEY".

Golden Tail is a particularly significant part of the history of Moomin mugs, introducing a new animation era and continuing the rich tradition of Moomin stories. The mug's modern design and narrative make it essential for collectors and all Moomin fans.
