The illustration on the mug draws inspiration from Tove Jansson's comics "Imaginary Play" (1956) and "Moomintroll and the Duty of Care" (1958), where the Moomins delight in the joys of summer berry picking.

The delicious image on the mug features Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden crushing berries in a bathtub, preparing a future jam treat. Although the Moominhouse cellar is already full of preserved berries, the Moomins can't resist the temptation to make use of the fresh harvest of the season.

The collection also includes a plate matching the same theme, allowing you to gather the entire series for yourself. The calming shades of sage, lilac, and peach reflect the tranquility and beauty of a summer day.
