Rantapäivä-mukin kuvituksessa Muumipeikko tutkii innoissaan hiekkarantaa keräten simpukoita samalla, kun taustalla tyrskyää näyttävä aaltojen meri. Toisella puolella mukia Muumimamma ja Muumipappa viettävät rauhallista kahvihetkeä rannan tuntumassa, nauttien eväistä aurinkoisen piknikin lomassa.
