1st Anniversary Moominvalley park Japan Moomin mug was on sale only in 2020.

This special 1st Anniversary Moominvalley park Japan mug was launched in 2020 to celebrate the first year of the Moominvalley Park theme park in Japan. It was available only at the park itself. Due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, the park had to close for much of the year, which meant a very limited production run—one reason its collectable value is high today.
A nice detail on the base is not only the Arabia stamp, but also the Moominvalley Park logo and the “1st Anniversary” marking. If you buy a labeled mug, you’ll also get its original storage box.

Among collectors the mug is also nicknamed “Japanimuki.” The background illustration comes from Tove Jansson’s comic strip no. 4 “Moomin’s Desert Island.”
