Arabia’s 0.4L Moomin Mug Boss Lady is a 0.4-litre Moomin mug whose production began in 2026. This mug belongs to the Rebel Club collection, whose original series includes four different 0.4-litre mugs. The mugs are designed in Finland and made in Thailand, as stated on the label. On the base of the mug there is the Moomin Arabia stamp, and in addition the text REBEL CLUB is shown prominently.

Rebel Club is not quite an ordinary Moomin collection. Its look is colourful, playful and in a good way slightly over the top. The collection launches a new series of 0.4-litre Moomin mugs that combines fresh colours, comic-strip energy and short English text quotes. The humour typical of Tove Jansson’s Moomin comics is strongly present throughout the Rebel Club series, but there is also a new kind of attitude and dramatic tone.

Boss Lady highlights Snorkmaiden’s ambitious and romantic side. In the story, she reaches for a slightly more glamorous life and gets a job as a secretary, although the workplace may interest her more because of possible romance than because of the office work itself. When everyday life turns out to be less glamorous and cleaning a typewriter takes over from her dreamy visions, Snorkmaiden quickly gives up the game. That is exactly what makes the Boss Lady mug such a cleverly funny part of the Rebel Club collection.

Behind the collection is the humorous storytelling typical of Jansson’s comics, where the characters sometimes reveal completely new and surprising sides of themselves. 0.4L Moomin Mug Boss Lady brings out Snorkmaiden’s ambition, dreaminess and a touch of rebellious spirit, while still preserving the recognizable atmosphere typical of the Moomin world.
